I stood in front of a magnificent wooden house at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The entire structure of the house was built of dark brown wood, and the corner of the roof seemed to have withstood a lot of weathering over the years. Nevertheless, the building radiated grandeur. The writing on the black tablet showed a quiet elegance, but I couldn't read it. A blue cloth, like a sea of beads, hung beside the signboard, making it look like it was blowing in the wind.
'This is my father's hometown.'
I got around quickly. In front of the house there was a large field of corn, and beyond it I could see a valley through which the gentle breeze blew. The clear stream of water in the valley came down from the mountain and shook the sky as it flowed with a refreshing sound. Although the water did not infiltrate the land where the crops were grown, the water still moistened the surroundings. There were no banks, but the power of the water was amazing.
Suddenly I noticed that the water flow seemed to go perfectly with the crops. It was as if the water was giving moisture to the land. Was it not the power of water, but the power of the land? Perhaps, this land may have coexisted with water. The humidity at the point where the cool air coming down from the mountain meets the water was confusing. Suddenly, it all seemed like one giant puzzle piece.

I was in a sunny living room when I heard the quiet guitar melody. There, an antique wooden guitar rested on a lace-covered table. That day, father was singing and playing with a guitar in his hand. Daughter walked into the living room to soothe her drowsiness.
“I started learning guitar,” father said.
One day - someone put me in someone's hands.
"It's strange, a big heart inside this little body."
At first glance, as soon as someone said this, the words disappeared like a mist. I was sitting on a shelf in the living room, and occasionally daughter would pass by me and stop to look at me. At that time, I felt the breeze all over my body and felt happy.
She often dropped me while playing with me, and whenever I did, I rolled around the living room and laughed. I was sitting on a bookshelf somewhere, lying next to a potted plant on the sunny side, or lying on top of a guitar shelf for a while. Not long ago, daughter cheered when her father came in with a guitar. Soon I was placed next to the guitar. Father's eyes moved as he read the sheet music. The melody was beautiful. The daughter smiled broadly. Mother, who was lying in the room next to her, also got up and smiled. When the father played the melody on the right, daughter followed her chorus on the left. That night, as usual, daughter's struggles to sleep began. She said she would fall asleep little by little and she would keep peeing. The father patted her daughter on the back and sang softly.“When my child returns across the sea,
She will bring the blue island and the stars in the night sky.”Before long, daughter's cries died down, and soon I could hear her slumbering breathing. The house must have belonged to someone in her family, and daughter was going to inherit it. Who said that, I think I just heard the whispered words in a quiet afternoon nap.
“I had a dream, but I wanted to hear your voice.”
When I called, father said he was going to the library to learn history from today.
"I'm going to learn that and do some research on my family's history."
With both hands constantly turning over the pages of history, is he reading the history of the family like a guitar melody?

Opening the book containing the history of the family, the location of the tomb and its surroundings were drawn schematically. I once walked endlessly along a road that looked like that. Graves made of shattered stones lay dormant in the shadows of the rainforest. Beside the tombs, there were long trees that would soon bear fruit. If I kept walking along the trees, it seemed that one day I would reach the end of the road. But in reality there was a lake at the end of the road.
On one side of the lake, a simple dock was prepared, and boats floated there for people to enjoy fishing. Over the lake, wild birds flew in a beautiful group dance. Drops of water would splatter upon it as the birds soaring through the water stirred it. The water droplets shone like sparkling jewels scattered across the sky.And then it's gone. Soon, the sound of firecrackers was heard. Discovering that I was standing in the middle of a festival in a small town square, I looked at the attractive orange stage and the dance floor with white lines. People in colorful clothes were moving noisily, dancing with heat and passion. I watched them and went out to find a friend close to the stage.
When I found them in their dark blue clothes, they had their short black hair waving in sweat. As soon as I saw them, I sensed that they was female, but I wasn't sure if they felt that way themselves. Anyway, I stood in front of them, feeling the beauty of them, ‘indeterminable’, with themselves.
“I’ll go out for a while. There is something I must find.”
they said nothing with their weighty eyes. I got their consent, but I was impatient with the thought of leaving quickly. There is no time. The highlight of this festival will begin soon.
“I am important in this dance.”
As I walked across the white borders, I came to a gravel field with a stream running through it. I suddenly felt a cold, thin stream of water wrapping under my feet and realized I had lost my shoes. I went back upstream of the stream and looked around. I greeted the villagers I met along the way, sometimes stopping to talk. The time I shared with them felt like time flowing slowly in a quiet valley.
I finally found a puddle where the shoes that had been washed away were gathered. Among them were my shoes. I put my hand in the water and lifted the shoe, but it has now turned into a small sneaker that a baby would wear. This amazing change felt like a mysterious aura of nature.

Grandmother told mother just before she died.
"Hey. I don't pee anymore So I want to go to your house.”
In a coastal town, we spent grandmother's last days together. On an old boat, moored in a shady harbor, I saw grandmother tucked away in a box covered in a black curtain. Early in the morning, in the fog, we walked the path that took grandmother through the jungle. I didn't know who or what the trip was for. Still, we had to walk through the thick jungle together. Drowsiness poured in without rest. When I said I'd go in first, one of us clung to my arm. Looking down at her, I suddenly remembered the things I could say as mother.
Crossing the old wooden bridge, we moved cautiously step by step. The bridge was of varying height and extended into the darkness. While crossing the wooden bridge, I had to pick up and move things one by one. On the other side, a woman with sun-blocking hair and a black dress that came down to her chest was staggering towards me, holding a sharp scythe. Her clothes were soaked in blood and sagging. I tried to be unnoticed lest she turn her attention towards me. But daughter was different. She stood upright and immediately rushed at the woman in the black dress. I screamed, pulling daughter by the scruff of the neck.
“What the hell are you doing? Does the ghost keep calling you to come?”
Words that aren't like a mother. I couldn't help it even if you cried sadly. My mind was mixed with worry and fear. We did not know what awaited us in the woods or what fate was heading towards us.
There was a strange feeling about the coast in midsummer. Along the shore there was a road leading to a quiet village. Mother's brother lived there. I must have been there once, with father. I carried the package in the farm truck, and later father picked it up. It was time alone with father, without mother, brother, or sister.
As I dipped my feet into the sea, goose bumps came up next to the sweat dripping down my back. I paddled the waves with my legs and looked under the water. Father was already calling my name from far away. We looked at each other's faces and smiled. The concentric circles of the waves lapped round to match the sound of laughter. In the distance, the horn of an old bus crossing the bridge rang in my ears. After playing late at night with older sisters in the living room covered with mosquito nets, I fell asleep exhausted. Me and father came home again. At some point, father never came back.
I don't remember anything for several years from that day. No matter how much I looked through the package, there was nothing that glittered like the stars in the night sky and the blue island floating in the sea off the coast. -

“I left it behind. Bring it to me.”
The sun is shining brightly. You look too tired to stand here.
It's as if you’re about to run out of energy and collapse.
The other side is watching you with worried eyes.“Go ahead and bring it to me.”
No, you can't.
"hurry."
The other side hurried to the other side.
You came rushing into my arms.
The other side was brought here.Under the heavy sun, time seemed to pass slowly. It was as if the world had stopped for an instant, and magic only spread here. An invisible line lay between you and me and those standing on the other side. The line, which seems to support the weight of the world, connects us like beautiful flowers and whispers to each other in a momentary breath.

It was like a festival. The fragrant smell of arepas and emurapas, warm sweets made with corn and cheese, was everywhere. I walked through the streets of the town where the festival took place and greeted people. In a vaguely bustling atmosphere, the Palenquera Palenque I wore was light green like a sprout with golden decorations. Everyone laughed and complimented me.
When I reached the entrance of the village, it was raining heavily from the sky before I knew it. The rain overflowed the ditches, and overlapped with the children playing in the water, creating a strange festival. The person I want to show off in my Palenquera Palenque was at the window of the hut across the street, and there was no point in going through a downpour like this, so I stood there and waited for the endless rain to stop. The straps of the sandals on my feet were soaked with rainwater, turning dark and dripping with water.
I followed the walking path with friends wearing the same Palenquera Palenque. we will stand on the stage. Then, I met me returning from the other side, and the moment we gathered in the shade of a tree, the rain stopped. All of a sudden, a number of “us” sat around the shade of a tree where the sun was gently pouring down, surrounding each other with a small table in the middle. We confirmed something by looking at each other's faces, and the blue beads tied to our sandals reminded us that they were stars and islands. These beads also made a fabric as blue as the sea. It was as if a blue island with twinkling stars in the night sky spread out beneath my feet before I knew it. We greeted each other by looking into each other's eyes, and as a token of that, we tied a sea-blue cloth made of beads to one side of the table. Feeling at ease, I could now run to my friend in the cabin across the street. Skipping lightly to avoid puddles, I made my way to the cabin. When I arrived by the window where my friend was standing, a light flashed in his eyes and welcomed me. He was amazed at the sight of me wearing the Palenquera Palenki. I held out my hand to him and offered to dance with him. He smiled brightly and took my hand.
